Is there a way for a member to see another stake's directory?

Thank you. Adding some details: this member lives in another stake, but has a stake calling in our stake. Since this member's calling is a stake calling and she's not associated with a ward in our stake (I believe in a ward calling scenario, we would associate her with that ward), how would I handle this matter? Is it possible to add a member to a stake but not to a ward?

This sounds similar to a situation where a member is called into a Stake Presidency for a YSA Stake. I'm not 100% certain, but I thought that when a standard stake calling is entered into LCR, there's a way to enter the MRN and look up a member outside the stake boundary. Regardless, it seems like there should be someone here in the Forum who has familiarity with that process, and might apply to your needs if this is for a standard calling.

My current calling may not be analogous to your situation, but I have a "custom" stake calling in multiple stakes (see Multi-stake calling and directory access for more details). From what I understand, when the different stake clerks created my custom calling at the stake level, they simply entered my MRN and LCR successfully added me without doing anything with my records.

Then they're probably set as long as it was added properly.

It's possible they'll need to do a "Data refresh" under "settings" in Member tools. For the website, there should be a drop down that allows them to select the stake.

Good catch, thanks. I had read the post as that the sister had received the calling and been sustained, but that it had not yet been entered into LCR (if the question was how to add her calling in to LCR). But if she's already in LCR, then as you state there's a good possibility it's a sync or data refresh issue with the Tools app.
