Easy enough - create a custom report!

  1. From the menu bar, select Membership > Custom Reports
  2. When the new tab opens, click on the "Add Report" hyperlink in the top right.
  3. Give the report a name.
  4. Click on the "Add Criteria" button
  5. Select "Age" from the list
  6. When the original screen appears, select "is or is greater than" from the drop down menu
  7. Add the value "18" to the value box
  8. Click "more"
  9. In the first column, leave the default selection (and Age)
  10. in the Compare Operation column, select "is or is less than"
  11. In the value column, add the value "25"
  12. Click on the "Add Criteria" button
  13. Select "Sex" from the list
  14. Leave the compare operation as the default ("is")
  15. Leave the value as the default ("male")
  16. Click on the "Add Criteria" button
  17. Select "Mission Country" from the list
  18. Change the compare operation to "has no value"
  19. Leave the value column empty
  20. Click on the "Add Criteria" button
  21. Select "Marriage Status" from the list
  22. Leave the compare operation as the default ("is")
  23. Change the value column to "Single" (I think divorced/widowed in this age range cannot serve, but am not sure)
  24. Click "Next" on the bottom
  25. Select the information you would like the report to contain.
  26. Click "Save"
  27. Click "Close"
From the custom reports list, now click on the name of the report you created. Wait a bit, and the report will appear. You can now print it or save it to file.

You can export this custom report criteria from MLS and upload it to the LDSTech wiki so that others may download it: https://tech.lds.org/wiki/index.php/Cus ... ic_reports

In MLS there is are a couple of standard sections in the Action and Interview list that provides precisley this information. The 18 year olds are listed in the section Young Men Approaching Missions and the 19-25 year olds in Men Who Have Not Served a Mission.

Good point. I've attached it to this post. I had to change the extension to *.txt to get it to upload. Once downloaded, just change it back to *.mls before importing it into the custom report section (button on bottom of page).

However, as Cottrells pointed out, there are two sections in the action/interview list (Ctrl+A in MLS) that may already contain the info you are looking for: Young men approaching missions and Men who have not served a mission. The only benefit, perhaps then, of using the custom report is that you can modify it to contain whatever info you'd like.

You can create custom reports in LCR if you have access.
