Calendar Resource Scheduling, 2 stakes, 1 common building

We have one large building that is used by wards from two stakes.

What are the best practices for using the calendar events resource tool?

We have one building coordinator, for obvious reasons, and they are located in the stake that the building belongs to.

If both stakes set up resources for this one building, then the calendaring system would falsely say, “No recourse conflicts” when there are conflicts, as there are two independent resource allocation lists for this one building.

The best I can come up with is to have the stake that the building does not belong to, refuse to set up any resources for this building. Then when wards from this “non-primary” stake create events, they can not choose any resources. The event will still generate a “No resource conflicts” message, but having chosen no resources, it should be assumed no resources have been reserved.

Any ideas?

How was this location scheduled in the past before the new calendar even existed? I am sure some version of the method used before could be implemented until the full capabilities of the new resource calendar are programmed. I have several ideas but the best method I can see would be to not have too much change from the ways things have done in the past if possible.

This has already been considered and addressed by the calendar application. I think it should work pretty well, if the documentation is correct in the help system at Manage Locations or Resources Shared By Two Stakes.
