Thank you Marianomarini for your comment! Great to see active participation in the community! EMMA is an internal (meaning Church employees) application which is designed and used for managing broadcast events within the Church. Broadcast events are those events which are televised, recorded, and/or disseminated electronically to Church members and participates for example, General Conference or Church Education System broadcasts, even some Stake Conferences and many more. EMMA will be where the Event Managers, Language Supervisors, Language Coordinators, Audio/Visual and Curriculum personnel will coordinate these events. An event summary is created where then an Agenda, Speaker List, and Booth Grid portions are created by their respective departments. The Speaker List and Booth Grid sections are used to manage the interpretation and translation of the events in their respective languages. The Agenda is used by the Audio/Visual and Curriculum departments for scheduling of resources needed and publication of content.

I hope I have answered your question sufficiently, this is just a brief explanation of what EMMA is and can do. There are many more features in the planning stages for integration with other Church productions to help manage talks as well.

EMMA is not meant for an external facing application to be used by the general Church population, however there are those who may be interested within the LDSTech community who can provide assistance where needed. These opportunities will be posted here when they become available. So stay posted!

Thank you!
