I used to use Ward Tools. As a Bishop, it was the best program for "on my iphone" there was. It had all the information that I needed, when I needed it. I relise the need to keep information confidential, but could the bishops have a certan code so they can download information, record numbers, and dates that they need? Will the new LDS tools give the bishop the information that he needs without having to go back to the ward computor each time.

The feature you are looking for might be in the roadmap down the road, but I don't anticipate anything popping up in the near future. I do know that MLS will eventually be transitioned to a web-based app, meaning you could access it from home or via your iPhone's browser and have all the info you needed. No official announcements, but things are being worked on....

You do always have the "old way" and could print out everyone's membership record and keep it in a binder with you.

Some, or maybe all, of what you need might already be available through the lds.org Leader Resources tool. See this thread. I don't know how it looks on an iphone, but it works on my android phone. I'm guessing it would work on most browsers. Granted, it's a little awkward getting signed in to lds.org using big fingers on a small phone, but at least it might save you a trip or two to the church.

The Iphone/IPod/IPad beta version of LDS Tools includes the usual names, addresses, contact no's. Plus MRN,Callings, DOB, Birthday List and various other reports. Calendars created, on LDS.org, can also be downloaded. The beta version, at the moment, includes password protection. The release date shouldn't be too far in the future now. Some of the data available is subject to your own calling and geographical location.
