All ward and stake activities are to be funded from the [[budget allowance]], with a few exceptions. One of those exceptions is a single annual camp for young men or young women, or a single annual day camp or similar activity for Primary children aged 8-11.

== Source of funds ==
The single annual camp is to be funded from the following sources (in order)<ref>''Handbook 2: Administering the Church'' [2010], [http://lds.org/handbook/handbook-2-administering-the-church/activities/13.2.8 13.2.8]</ref>:
# Stake and ward budget funds.
# Participants earn money to pay all or part (only if budget funds are insufficient)
# Group [[Fundraising | fund-raising activities]] that comply with guidelines.

Note that there is no option for parents paying for any part of YM/YW camps, although that is common practice in some areas.
