Talk:Known limitations (My Study Notebook)
The inability to arrange or rearrange material placed within "My Study Notebook" nullifies any benefit of this feature. I have marked some scripture references for a lesson and now that I am ready to print them, they are all backwards! I hope this is something that will be rectified, otherwise I cannot think of what use this serves.
- You should be able to rearrange items that are within a notebook by dragging the items in the arrangement you want. But in All Items, you can't rearrange content. --Tom Johnson 05:39, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Both my iPhone 4S and my iPad 3 seem to be limited to 16 tags (while I have 19 tags in the Study Notebook). Is this a hard limit, or are my devices just not synching properly? -- Surfdude621 12:50, 8 May 2012 (MDT)
UPDATE: I just uninstalled and reinstalled the iPad application and now all 19 tags show up. Very strange since I just got the iPad 3 three days ago, so should not have had a versioning problem. If I add additional tags, will they show up? Will update this when I add additional tags. -- Surfdude621 12:56, 8 May 2012 (MDT)
- Discussions on features or support issues will generally receive better responses on the LDSTech Forum -- there's a lot more traffic there. -- Aebrown (talk) 11:14, 27 June 2012 (MDT)
Reduced features in non-English versions
Only the english version of lds.org has all the features (of "My Study Notebook") described in the main article. When I sign in and browse english pages, I can use the toolbar, bookmark articles ... When I switch to the german version, the toolbar disappears. I can use "Mein Notizbuch fürs Studium" only to make journal entries. Highlighting and bookmarking (scriptures, magazine articles) is impossible. Anyone can test this by going to "First Presidency Message" (e.g.) and switch to different languages. It would be nice, if german (french etc.) users could use everything, not just journal entries. --Bwbs (talk) 07:40, 27 June 2012 (MDT)
