All I am trying to do is select some text so I can copy it and share it.
But when I select text in the app it instead gets "highlighted" permanently. I can't remove the red "highlight" and I can't select the text to copy it. Every time I try to select the text it gets "highlighted" again and the red just gets darker; I can barely even read the text in the app, and I most certainly still cannot copy the scripture I am trying to share.
Why can't I copy text?

It's September 2023 and I am also experiencing this issue — any resolutions?

Is this in Windows 10 or Window 11? If you go into the setting (looks like a gear) in the Gospel Library App, then About, what version of the app are you currently at?

Same issue as above.
Windows 10 22H2 Build 19045.3324
Gospel Library 6.5.1.0
1) Select text (JS History 1:5)
result: text becomes permanently highlighted and "delete highlight" is greyed out.
2) right click and select "COPY TEXT ONLY"
result: <paste> into app, clipboard captured JS History 1:45, not verse 5.
3) Have not found a way to remove the highlight.
