Calendar visibility in Member Tools

Last night we had a lot of angry people because two wards in the same building scheduled large activities at the same time. The reason neither ward can see each other's calendars in Member Tools app? Does anyone know why we can't see other wards or locations in Member Tools?

Generally members only see their own ward. The system should be preventing conflicts by refusing to allow the second event that's using the same space at the same time.

Did they actually schedule the building or did someone operate on a "if no one else is using it..." basis?
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

Putting an event on the ward calendar is not scheduling the building. There is a difference.

I am assuming they chose "Church Facility" for the location of the event. That may be a rash assumption, but that would explain what happened and who is at fault.

Another problem is someone might have created a "building calendar" and used that instead of properly scheduling.
