Make mission boundaries public

The view of the mission boundaries on the map is fantastic. I enjoy going through it. Why not make these boundaries public?

I see that the church publishes no directory of mission boundaries, but all the data required to discover a mission's boundaries can be gleaned from official church sources by a determined researcher: The church news website lists articles by mission announcing changes, including when stakes are added or removed. Some of these articles even include maps of the new mission boundaries! For those that don't, the current stakes for a given mission can be inferred by going through these articles. Then, the Stake boundaries (or at least rough boundaries) can be discovered using the meetinghouse locator.

So, mission boundary data is published by the church and available to the public, it's just difficult to find it. Why not just expose mission boundaries on the map to the general public?
