I've been asked to find the contact information for the following callings for all the stakes in my metro area:
Stake President
Stake Executive Secretary
Bishop
Ward Executive Secretary
Elders Quorum President
Relief Society President
High Priests Group Leader
Ward Employment Specialist
I just found this amazing feature on cdol.lds.org called "make a directory"... this is GREAT!
However, I can't seem to coerce it into showing me the ward callings for the Relief Society President, Elders Quorum President, High Priests Group Leader, and Executive Secretary. (It won't even show for my current stake)
Here is what I've tried:
1) Search for a stake in our metro area and click it
2) click the Make a Directory Button
3) Click Design a new Stake Directory
4) Select the Include Other Related Organizations radio button
5) select Add a 2nd and 3rd level of organizations (the wards/branches would be second level and the auxiliaries would be 3rd level... at least that is what I understand)
6) select the Active Organizations radio button
7) For 2nd level organizations, choose Child-Branch and Child-Ward
8) for 3rd level organizations, choose Child-Relief Society under the ward section (it seems it is missing Child-Elders Quorum for the ward relationship) and choose Child-Relief Society, Child-Elders Quorum under the branch section (it is missing HPGL for both sections)
9) Choose all positions for each level
10) Select all the position phones and email addresses
12) give it a name, and print it
I get a list that only shows the stake positions and bishopric/clerk related positions... no Relief Society President info.
Am I doing something wrong?
Is it possible to get this information that I'm seeking?
Thank you~!

You can only see quorum and auxiliary information for units under your stewardship. Even if you try to search for them, they will not show.

Re: Unable to obtain auxiliary info in CDOL Make a Directory
The level of detail you're allowed to see in CDOL diminishes as you get further from your stake. You can probably get Stake President and Bishop, but I wouldn't guarantee the others.
You've not indicated what this is for. Assuming this is for church, things need to go though the stake presidency and bishops before you can talk to the various auxiliaries in other stakes anyway. So this is forcing you to follow protocol.

Nope.nathangg wrote:I get a list that only shows the stake positions and bishopric/clerk related positions...

Not from CDOL.nathangg wrote:Is it possible to get this information that I'm seeking?
Other than your own stake, you will only be able to get these four positions:
of the ones you listed. You will be able to see the stake presidents and counselors, bishops and counselors, the stake and ward clerks, and stake and ward executive secretaries.Stake President
Stake Executive Secretary
Bishop
Ward Executive Secretary
As a bonus, you will see the stake patriarch.
For all of the others, you will need to contact their respective bishops and stake presidents.
For a one-time purpose approved by the priesthood leaders of your coordinating council, you may be asked to email each of the stake clerks, who would be able to give you the listing for their stake. You would then just need to put them together and hope everyone stayed in their current calling for a few weeks.
But the only directory you will be able to make on your own will be for the priesthood leaders, their counselors, clerks, and executive secretaries. You will then have to work through them, as russellhltn suggested, to go any further.

Re: Unable to obtain auxiliary info in CDOL Make a Directory
Thank you for the replies!
To answer some questions:
My Stake President asked me to help obtain this information for the BYUI Pathway senior missionaries serving in our stake (it is my understanding they were called under the direction of the area seventy for the coordinating council).
I was hoping that as stake executive secretary I could see this information, but it makes sense why I can't.
Unfortunately, I can't even obtain auxiliary information for my own stake. But perhaps the stake clerk can see the auxiliary information for their own stake but the stake executive secretary cannot?
However, I appreciate what russellhltn stated. I think it would be easiest to produce this report for our Coordinating Council upon request from the BYU-I Pathway senior missionaries with approval from our stake president, and then let the senior missionaries contact the stakes/wards as needed.
Thank you~!!!

Re: Unable to obtain auxiliary info in CDOL Make a Directory
I'm not sure if they fall under CES or the Missionary department, but they might work with their office instead of trying to talk a stake into doing it. So in this case, this limitation appears to be a blessing in disguise.nathangg wrote:I think it would be easiest to produce this report for our Coordinating Council upon request from the BYU-I Pathway senior missionaries with approval from our stake president, and then let the senior missionaries contact the stakes/wards as needed.

Re: Unable to obtain auxiliary info in CDOL Make a Directory
In CDOL the Elders Quorum, Relief Society, etc aren't true organizations like the ward, stake, temple, etc. All of the positions you are talking about are in the ward organization. In CDOL the auxiliaries are just a way to group the positions within the ward.nathangg wrote: 5) select Add a 2nd and 3rd level of organizations (the wards/branches would be second level and the auxiliaries would be 3rd level... at least that is what I understand)

This refers to the positions you can see on the organizations' summary page (not those in the Show all Positions)nathangg wrote: 9) Choose all positions for each level
