Temple Endowment Session Film Music

#1

Post by rescuebreath »

Does anybody know who composes the music for the Temple movies during the endowment session?

I would love to add that music to my collection, that is....if it's allowable.

Thank you for helping!

I'm not sure who the composers are for each of the temple films' soundtracks, but the soundtracks were almost certainly composed by contract specifically for the temple films. Because the temple film isn't distributed publicly, and because the Church hasn't made a point of distributing soundtracks even for films that are distributed publicly, I don't expect the Church to provide the temple film soundtracks for download anytime soon.

It's much easier to find music composer information for commercially-distributed church films, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of the same composers helped out with the temple film soundtracks. Some of the better-known composers for church-related movie soundtracks are Merrill Jenson, Kurt Bestor, Sam Cardon, and Lex de Azevedo, though that's not a comprehensive list. I would recommend any of their music.

If you like the temple film soundtrack music, your best bet is to attend the temple more often. :)

What a great answer! I've researched each of those composers as you mentioned and a few of them have similar music.

You're also right about Temple attendance more often. ;-) The new films certainly have become incredible and have my full attention.....rather than slipping into a snore now and then.

Thank you for your answers and candor!

See you at the Temple! ;-)

After discussion by moderators/administrators, this thread is being closed to further posts. Consensus was reached that this thread was trending too close to sacred things and should be closed as a precautionary measure. Those who attend the temple have been instructed to not discuss the presentation outside the temple.
