Audio glitch/hack?

#1

Post by bush2595 »

As I was listening to Alma 8, there was suddenly a strange, rather creepy, voice over. I went back and it did it again. I'm not sure if it was a hack or glitch, if it happened to others or it is my phone only. Has this happened to others? I'm going to delete and reinstall the app for now.

Where in the audio did you get that (verse number, or minutes:seconds)?

I listened to all of Alma chapter 8 with both the female and male voices and did not hear anything unusual.

End of Verse 1. I wish I hadn't deleted it now so others can hear it.

It's possible you had a web page or another app open in the background that had an audio ad or something.

No, I've had that happen before and this was different. I listened to that part again and it happened again with a different message clearly meant to be creepy, which is why I deleted it so quickly.
