I am serving as a Stake Emergency Communications specialist and a Ward Emergency Preparedness Specialist. We would like assemble a survey to be reviewed by the Bishop to collect basic information about our ward.
I seem to remember a java application someone had shared in the forums that correlated and stored information about members assets (axe's, chain saws, generators, etc) and skills. I have searched and searched for the application and I cannot find the thread.
If anyone has a suggestion as to where to find the application it would be great! I wanted to put together a survey that was more relevant to the application so the data collection was as efficient as possible.
Thanks!
Rob

I'm guessing it's a program called MLS Companion. Click here to read a post discussing it.
Here is a tutorial for the questionnaire.
It may be worth mentioning that it is also possbile to track memeber talents/interests/hobbies in MLS. There are several preloaded fields, and then you can add custom fields as well. This is at a ward level, however, so it would mean first getting each ward to utilize this feature and then collecting this info from them when it is entered.
MLS companion seems to offer the functionality of having an electronic survey distributed, which makes the uploading of the info much easier, obviously.

Thanks again!!!
I will have to look at the MLS Companion. Anyone know if there are specific concerns with it's ability to interact with MLS or the MLS Data?
