While we're here, what is the new "abn" that replaces "www" for the url? Are we now a part of the Australian Business Network?

Anything in front of the domain is just a server name. Not sure what's going on, but perhaps they feel too much is going to "www" for the load handling system.

Maybe we're just abbey-normal.

I have the same question - my home page is the church website, and it looks completely different...I'm NOT in Australia, although I would love to visit there someday...this is USA

I'm not seeing anything new – abn.churchofjesuschrist.org redirects to www.churchofjesuschrist.org for me. Could you post a screenshot?

Now the homepage looks the same in Chrome as previously, although url says abn.etc. In Firefox, I see at the top a large picture of Christ with the invitation, "We are a diverse...", then below, similar links as in Chrome, but in a different arrangement...
Just wanted to be sure nothing weird was happening to my computer.
Can't figure out how to post a screenshot.

I think the church may be doing some A/B testing and the abn probably stands for A/B network or something like that.

In A/B testing you have two versions of a web page which you randomly (or perhaps based on some criteria) show one of the two versions and then capture information about where people went from there. I just went to http://www.churchofjesuschrist.org and it redirected to abn.churchofjesuschrist.org and showed a new main page layout.

Guess I'll just "enjoy the ride" as the new url seems to change arrangement regularly...Now if my Gospel Library notebook would display the highlights on my computer as entered on my tablet...It's just great to have such portable scriptures, etc.

I just checked in a different browser (Chrome) and it gives me this helpful message instead of loading the page...
