Cannot download certain videos from Gospel Media and Library Apps both Android and IOS

Have already submitted "feedback" from within each app on all devices--which is every Android device I use, as well as my husband's IPad, but the answer was "Good Luck" so hoping I can find where to get actual technical support for this problem. I use the Book of Mormon Stories videos every week for my Primary class, but since first of January, had trouble synching the Gospel media app and playing downloaded Videos.

So I tried downloading any video from Book of Mormon Stories on all of the Android and iOS devices and none of them will complete the download. Just sat there with the twirling arrow and after a very long time (for a 30 mb download), had to cancel.

Thought maybe my broadband internet (very speedy), so tried a T Mobile Hot Spot--same problem, so need to know who to call or reach out to.

Specifically today tried to download Ch 6 in Book of Mormon Stories on Lehi's Dream. But other videos from Book of Mormon Stories have the same problem. I since found other posts on similar problems. Exactly what is being done to address this problem--after more than a month. Has anyone found a work-around? Our building wireless is spotty and need to have these videos downloaded in advance.

If I ever have to show videos in a classroom setting at the church, I download them at a computer from the church web site and put them on a thumb-drive. All our building tv's have USB ports in the back and the videos play very well from a thumb drive. That is the workaround I would suggest.

I'm sure that feature depends on the model of TV. Some TVs have a USB port, but it's only for service updates, or perhaps to show still photos.

It may work, but I'd test that before counting on it.

Agreed. I tested each TV in our building when my wife was a Self-Reliance facilitator because I was her "tech guy" with the videos and we never knew in advance which TV would be available.

TV is not an option--limited classroom space as well as demand for TV's beyond what Library has available. I have been using the Gospel Media App for almost 2 years on a small micro projector or my husband's I Pad for a small CTR class. Then at end of the year or first part of January the ability to download the videos (specific ones, not all) became a problem. There should be a reasonable explanation as it is happening to others and is a problem for almost all Android devices, latest versions as well as Ipads.

Just need who to contact to troubleshoot this problem. Email from Webfeedback does not have an answer, and no response from Feedback within the app on several of devices I have tried.

I wish there were a Gospel Library App department.

I would work with my ward clerk and my stake technology specialist. I would also continue to send feedback on a regular basis, including any time they did not provide an answer to your question. You can be polite but still persistent. All feedback gets to the developer.

I did reach out to Ward Clerk and they had no idea at all why these Apps were not downloading certain videos as they are too busy to be using the apps during Sunday meetings! I will try Stake Technology Specialist, but have worked with him regularly as former FHC Director--with computer updates, etc and expect him being very busy and suggesting we reach out to Church Hqrs Global Services, etc.

I will continue to do feedback--but have yet to get any answer whatsoever.

I just tried downloading the video for "Chapter 2: Lehi Warns the People" under Children > Book of Mormon Stories, in both Gospel Library and Gospel Media for Android. It seemed to download as expected. After downloading the videos, I put my device in airplane mode to make sure the video could play offline (to verify that it was actually downloaded) and it played offline without any problems. Is there a specific video that's having trouble?
