mission companion location

Post by paulryoung »

My name is [--- moderator removed ---], I served a mission in Uruguay in 1955-9. I am trying to locate a former mission companion. His name is/was [--- moderator removed ---]. He was from [--- moderator removed ---]. Does anyone have an idea on how to get in touch with him. Is there a church office to do this sort of thing? My email address is [--- moderator removed ---].

Thank you , [--- moderator removed ---]

The Church does not have an office that can help with your request.

I edited your request to remove the personal information. This is a public forum visible to anyone in the world.

Your best bet would be to search the web for missionary reunion or alumni sites.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

If you're on Facebook, there are several unofficial groups set up for people who served in various missions. You could try searching there.

Thank you for the responses all. I appreciate the editing of my post. I was not aware of the rules about personal data. should have known. I will pass information to my friend and try to help him follow-up on the info you have provided. Thank you again.
