The attached article should be beneficial to those who are trying to broadcast sacrament meeting from an iPhone to YouTube Live.

The audio cable portion will need more work. A cable to adapt from tip & sleeve (TS) to Tip ring ring sleeve (TRRS) is needed. Unless the jack is labeled otherwise, you're likely to also need to adapt from line-level to mic-level.

The official recommendation is going to be something like 'use what you have and you're comfortable with".

This is one option.

Take a look at the topics (threads) found in the forum this thread is in (Non-Interactive Webcasting). You will see other options that have published guidelines. Some of them are options for non-interactive Zoom meetings, Larix Broadcaster, Church Webcasts using YouTube Live Streams, and Church Webcasts using OBS, to mention a few. There are the interactive options in the Interactive Virtual Meetings forum. Those options can be used for non-interactive webcasting but require some further precautions and control by an administrator to prevent interruptions from participants so that the experience is like that of a non-interactive webcast.

Moderator note: The file has been updated.

Correction: NOW it's been updated. It should say "update' in the filename.
