Ward Technology Specialist

I can not enter this calling into LCR under technology. It has me try to find a standard calling, but I would like to create this under 'new custom calling'
with this title. It will not let me create this new custom calling. Is this only done at the Stake level? Am I doing something wrong?

Not sure why it won't allow you to create it as a custom calling. However, doing so will not allow them to have access to any of the on-line tools.

For that, the stake has to call them as an Assistant Technology Specialist.

Within each group we have the ability to allow/disallow custom callings. IIRC I was told to not allow custom callings there.

If you are saying a custom calling of Ward Technology Specialist cannot be created in the Other > Technology group then there is a bug in the system because we did just that about four weeks ago. But as mentioned this calling has no privileges to access any technology programs or anything special anywhere.

I just now tried creating a custom position, Assistant Ward Technology Specialist, in the Technology group and was able to do so. There was a temporary problem in the system displaying either the ward membership list or accepting a fully typed in name but it finally resolved and completed the calling insertion.
