I can't believe that thought didn't cross my mind. I teach 4th grade professionally and have been using Zoom on almost a daily basis since the end of March. I use breakout rooms all the time with my students. Didn't even think of setting up classes to be done that way.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Is there anything further on the problem where the Meet page will not send the activation email?

In these challenging times, I answer myself.

If I waited a few minutes, I was able to remove most of my problem children. Then, I let everything just sit overnight, as if I had made no request at all.

In the morning, I requested the accounts, received activation emails, and succeeded in setting up the accounts. A little patience (a rare commodity at the moment, I fear) went a long way.

Remember that these were new accounts, not transfers. But the activation emails each came in about 30 seconds this morning.

I received an email this morning addressing all of my Feedback concerns. Hopefully you also will hear soon.

Why does the church leave the Assistant Technology Clerks out of all these things? It's really frustrating to not be able to do things like creating facility work orders (which my wife, the Young Woman's President CAN do) or fully interact with the provided support tools.

I am also in the boat with those who have more than one calling. In my case, I am the Assistant Stake Clerk -- Technology for two Stakes (a Family Stake and a YSA Stake that share buildings). I can see the units for one Stake, and have successfully set up the Zoom accounts for those units. But I still cannot see the units for the other Stake. Has anyone heard any progress on the multiple calling issue?

I have a ward that would like to transfer their existing Zoom account to the new one offered by the church. I found documentation that says this is possible; however, I get an error on the meet.churchofjesuschrist.org site saying I must use a different email address. Won't that create two distinct accounts? Anyone else having this problem?

Send feedback on this one. That may be a case that wasn't accounted for in the system.

That's got to be it. Oh, wait, does that mean I'm a louse? I seem to have loused up the Church Zoom account transfer system, so maybe.
Bart fixed my problem! Thank you! We'll try again, and we'll try to get it right, this time.

@dafferngg

THANK YOU!

Just so everyone else is aware, @dafferngg's fix involves the following:

- Create a "new" Zoom account (vs signing in via Google...which is the default and totally confusing)
- When creating a new account...enter your Google email address as the email address (not using any of the automatic Google prompts)
- Set a unique Zoom password (since you're not logging in via Google)
- Confirm your personal information and email address as you normally would
- Log-in using the Zoom account every time NOT Google

I did it and it worked like a charm.

Thanks again, @dafferngg
