Preferred name problem

Preferred name problem
What are the reasons why it will not accept a preferred name? I have added it many times, and each time it tells me that the requested changes have been made, but the preferred name line remains blank after saving.

Is this by chance an out-of-unit record? Are you trying to change a membership record at the stake level?
You might also give this a try using incognito mode, just to make sure it isn't some weird cookie problem.
