Zoom via Phone

#1

Post by jsto03 »

I have noticed when setting up a Zoom meeting that there are phone numbers associated with the instructions when sending the invites out to join in. This is a dumb question but if someone doesn't have access to internet, laptop, etc (aka widows, older members) can they just call in and listen to a meeting? The other question is is this feature supported on the Zoom licenses that the church has created for each unit or is it only an option for those who have a separate account?

Yes. We have several members call in to our ward council, Sacrament, and other Zoom meetings.

We've been using Zoom Webinar for several months and have several members call in to sacrament meetings via telephone. They have even participated in testimony meetings. They can virtually raise their hand (by pressing *9) and the host let's them unmute so they can speak.
