In desperate need for this tool to work for any church musician to save day’s worth of time to transpose when it used to be so easily available…no thanks to Adobe flash player being discontinued for 6 months. Willing to test anything, too.

Please bring it back. We music / choir / primary music directors use it more than you would imagine. In the mean time does anybody know of an ap or program that would transpose sheet music like that? Thank you for all of your work!

I liked the ability to focus on parts, tenor for me, as well as the auto-scroll feature. In fact, for our ward conference this Sunday I am tasked with providing music for our streamed sacrament meeting. We are currently in covid-19 lock down and cannot meet as a congregation at the chapel, hence we are streaming. I need to provide music for members to sing along to in their homes and the auto-scroll feature is very helpful for members to follow along with. If I can get an early copy/access to the new interactive music player, or alternative, that will be really helpful.
Thanks

There's now an interactive sheet music feature at SingPraises.net. For example, if you go to the English hymnbook:
https://singpraises.net/collections/en/hymns
From there, you can click "View song" next to a song, then click "Sheet Music (Interactive)." It allows you to transpose the music, turn individual parts on and off, etc.

This is my personal website, and is not an official Church resource. However, I hope that it might be helpful to some of you until the new Church tool is available.

My wife received an email from the church today that the new interactive player is released, which allows you to change the tempo, transpose to a different key, play only certain parts, etc.
1. Go to the main church music site: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/music/library/hymns
2. Select the hymn you would like to work with.
3. Just below the sheet music, select the blue "Switch Player" button

Hope this helps everyone, but I noticed it is not available for the children's hymnbook.

This is great! Interestingly, my account happened to be in Spanish when I took a look, and I noticed that the "Switch Player" option isn't available for hymns in Spanish like it is in English. I'm guessing it's at least in progress for Spanish and Portuguese, and perhaps other languages as well.

We'll likely never know if the "community feedback" played a role in getting this to happen, or if it was always part of "the plan" that we simply never heard about... ;)

For those who have put the time and effort into making this happen, thank you very much. It is so appreciated.
I look forward to the possibility of this happening for the children's songs...it is so difficult to reach those high notes as an adult.
