Auto-population of search bubble in Finance
Hi. Anybody know a way to turn off the auto-populate user id in finance screens? For example, I go to Transfer Summaries. It displays nothing. But then I notice it put my user id in the search bubble automatically. I clear the bubble and all my Stake transfers show. A minor nuisance for sure, but I wish I could fix it so it doesn't happen. Thank you.

I have hated that for years. I assumed it was Chrome doing that.

A quick search suggests there's no way to turn off Chrome's autofill for a specific site. The best suggestion was to create a new profile that has autofill turned off and use that for Finance.
It does seem odd it would fill in your user name for a search field. You might want to double-check what's in autofill. Three dots > settings > type autofill in the blue search bar at the top > click on "Addresses and more"

Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

My solution was to get released from my clerk calling, so I no longer have access to financial records.

Thank you! Went into Chrome settings and deleted the saved passwords for all LDS.org entries. I cleared cache, history, etc. Logged in and no more autofill in finance fields.

I don't have access to inspect the page source to see, but I'll bet the HTML search field has a name or id attribute of "name" or "username" (maybe from a code copy/paste) that the browser is picking up and trying to be helpful with. If so, a developer would just need to change the name and/or id attribute to something else.
