How do we reset or retrieve member online account information to retrieve their username and rest their password? We tried the online retrieval method but the member does not recall their prior phone number or email used for recovery. Also, we are not able to get a hold of global services during the non-working hours in the evenings since global services require the member present to do voice authentication before resetting. Basically we need to get access to members account already created to retrieve their username and reset their password but have no recovery method to be done online. What is the best way to get a hold of global services if they are available in the evenings?
Recent updates now allow the ward/branch clerk to update the member's email address on their record in LCR, which will then send an email to that member to verify the email address. Once that email address is verified, it can be used to recover the account (if there is one) via the Email Address or MRN options at https://account.churchofjesuschrist.org/recovery.
