VPN

Post by juanjesusbailey1 »

I am a BYU-Pathway Service Missionary. Not long after I was set apart I logged into my computer at home and a dialog box appeared on my desktop. I have attached a file here that shows the dialog box I get. I cannot figure out what to do with it and cannot get rid of it. Any help would be appreciated. I hope the picture shows up. Then when I click on "Connect" I get another dialog box. I'm not all that tech savvy so I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do.

Thanks
Elder Bailey

Cisco AnyConnect is a VPN that allows you to access internal Church or BYU–Pathway websites related to your calling. Most of the Church workforce has switched to a different VPN system – I don't know if that affects you (your supervisors would know). It may be that BYU–Pathway still uses Cisco AnyConnect.

In any case, from the error message, it looks like you might be on an internet network that requires signing in on a browser before connecting. If you open your web browser (Edge, or Chrome, for example), are you able to use the internet and go to various websites?
