Feedback - Attendance Rolls
I'm a RS secretary who works in the accessibility space professionally and I find the format of the attendance rolls poorly designed in this regard. The typeface is extremely small and some of the text is a hard-to-read gray, both of which make it difficult for anyone with low vision to read the document easily. Plus there's quite a bit of unnecessary clutter in the form of instructions for the secretary at the top of the page. All of this means that the downloadable forms don't serve their intended purpose very well. After 6 months on the job and attempts work with the format, I've realized that I have to create my own template or track down a better version online. Maybe there are Relief Societies that want their roll to look cute, but I would love an efficient, functional download that frees up time for the things that really matter. I hope this is something that can be remedied as the church continues to improve their website.

Re: Feedback - Attendance Rolls
This is primarily a user-to-user forum. I'd suggest you send your observations via the feedback link on the page where the report is found. That's the best way to get word back to the developers.

The faint gray column headings are also a problem for the older people in my ward.
Does anyone have a suggestion about how to print the rolls with clearly visible column headings (short of creating my own rolls from scratch in Word or Excel)?

If you print the rolls from "Class and Quorum Attendance" instead of from "Attendance Rolls" it is easier to read...but you'd have to reprint the specific class rolls every other week because it shows only one week out. It's a way.

Re: Feedback - Attendance Rolls
I found that if I instead of printing the attendance roll from LCR, that I download the attendance roll and open it in Word to modify the font and size to make the months/dates more legible.
Then I can print the new files from Word.
Instructions are for Windows based computer.
In "Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR)" click on the "Reports" tab at the top and select "Attendance Rolls".
In "Attendance Rolls" select the "Organization" and "Quarter" and click on "Print".
Instead of clicking on the print icon (the printer icon in the upper right) click on the icon to the left, the download icon that has a downward directed arrow.
Save it to a desired location and name. It will save it as a .pdf file.
To open the .pdf file in "Word", select it, right click on it and choose "Open With" and then "Choose another app".
Scroll through the list and click on "Word". Then click on "Just once".
Click on "OK" on the pop-up that appears allowing Word to convert the PDF file to a Word document.
Once opened, click on the "OK" button at the top right to view the document.
Next, click on the "Enable Editing" button toward the top of the file. This will allowing editing of the file.
The text is now contained in boxes. Select the letters in the boxes, right click on the highlighted selection and select font.
Change the options that need editing: font, font style, font size, color, etc..
I keep the font, change font style to Bold, size to 8 and color to black for the months and dates.
Save and print the new Word document.
Hope this helps others.
