preach my gospel app

Just received info on the new preach my gosple manual and in that it refers to an app.
I have a few asking if this is only accessable to missionaries as their church user name and passward
does not give them access.

The message is referencing a new version of the Preach My Gospel titled Preach My Gospel: A Guide to Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the Sharing the Gospel section of the Gospel Library app. The old Preach My Gospel has a "Previous Edition" banner across it. Anyone with a Church Account (both member and nonmember accounts) should find the new manual after a sync. A forced sync can be done by pulling down on a library page.

The new manual is also found online at the Church website Gospel Library page (Libraries > Gospel Library > Sharing the Gospel section). No sign-in on the website is necessary to find the manual.

Yes I was able to find all that and able to access from the library app. There is also a "preach my gospel" app in the app store that we have downloaded but unable to access.
This is separate that the manuals in the library app.

The app you found in the app store is for missionaries only.

I am mission technology specialist but as a senior missionary I do not have access to some items such as ABP.

Will this new App be available in Google PlayStore for missionaries’ Android phones?

And for me on my Apple devices?

I downloaded it from Google stores on my android but never did get access. Thus I'm not a full time missionary

The Area Book Planner app was renamed to Preach My Gospel – it's the same app with the same Android package name behind the scenes. So it should work for any missionaries who were able to use the Area Book Planner app.

And for me on my Apple devices?

On iOS, the Preach My Gospel app was previously called "Area Book for Mission Leaders." I'm not sure who was able to use it – it may have just been for mission presidents.

I have been trying for over a week to get access to the Preach my Gospel App in order to access the “area book” information as a full time senior missionary. After multiple emails and several calls both of myself and my Mission President to the global help desk I was sent the response that the Preach My Gospel App does not work on Apple devices. Is there a timeframe as to when it will? If it is not planned what is the solution to give those with an Apple device the necessary tools to access members that are being taught and see who is not being visited? Is the only solution to buy an Android device? I would really like to be able to have. The tools to do the work so if this is the only option we will buy one. Thanks!
