FYI, the Tech Forum is composed of mostly regular members like yourself. The Church is (in)famous for not disclosing functionality plans or timelines, and often when they do those plans are subsequently delayed without information shared to us members. If you're lucky someone on the Forum might be aware of details about your question, just want to make sure you understand that since this Forum isn't official church support, we generally don't have answers that posters are seeking about development plans or timelines. Is there a timeframe as to when it will?

Re: preach my gosple app
Currently, the only solution for senior missionaries using the PMG app is to purchase an Android device. We're sorry it isn't available on Apply for senior missionaries. For your information, the iOS (or Apple) version of the PMG app is only accessible to mission presidents and companions at this time. This may change with time but the development and timeline are still being evaluated. To help senior missionaries determine what mobile device to bring on their mission, including whether they will be using the Preach My Gospel (formerly Area Book Planner) app, senior missionaries are pointed to this resource as part of their call experience:

Re: preach my gosple app
If the IOS version is available to Mission Leaders, why not Senior Missionaries fulfilling MTS and Referral positions? I find it difficult (read almost impossible) to guide young missionaries in the use of ABP/PMG as I do not know it’s functionality or menus. It’s just what I glean from observing their use or reading KB articles. It’s hard!
I am assigned a unit and teaching area, but even with ABP selected in my teaching area, I still cannot access anything.

I can appreciate the difficulty of what you are describing and will pass that feedback along as well. At this time, the best option for you to train missionaries on ABP (PMG app) is to either purchase or borrow an Android device from the mission office. Your login will work on the android version of the app.

I should also clarify, the version of PMG app for mission leaders has limited functionality. It provides a directory and mission-wide key indicator insights. It lacks the functionality that a senior missionary couple would need such as full person records, weekly planning, and mapping.

Re: preach my gospel app
We are full time senior missionaries. I downloaded the app on an android but i don't know any sign-in information. I tried my regular church account but it says I don't have access.
Any informatikn on who has to give us access? Our mission leaders don't know.

Hi Sister Alexander,
I looked up your teaching area in Portal. Currently, it is not enabled for Area Book Planner (previous name of Preach My Gospel app). Your mission office can enable your teaching area for Area Book Planner and then the Preach My Gospel app will work for you using your church login. They can do this on the Teaching Area section of Portal. In the same place, they can mark whether your teaching area should receive referrals or report key indicators.
Your mission office can refer to this help article on editing the teaching area settings: https://servicenow.churchofjesuschrist. ... =KB0082322

Re: preach my gospel app
A missionary that I am serving with is having problems with the events timeline on her friends records in the Preach my Gospel App. When she pulls it up it won't show all of the previous reported contacts and lessons even some that she personally reported on. Is there anyway to fix this?

Re: preach my gospel app
My advice the tools you’ve been instructed to use for your mission call. What have senior missionaries been told to use? Could you coordinate with the younger missionaries who do have the app, or ward/branch mission leader?
