MEETINGHOUSE LOCATOR PROBLEM FOR ZIP 94560

Bayside Ward is the only ward in Newark, CA 94560, but IT DOES NOT APPEAR PROPERLY in Meetinghouse Locator.

See the attachment for what happens when "94560" is entered. Under Newark, CA, you see "Search was too general", but it is not. You can see clearly the red chapel in Newark on the map.

And "Other Wards for this Location" gives suggestions that are FAR AWAY (Menlo Park, San Jose, San Francisco) except for the "Fremont Branch (Sign Language)" in Fremont.

"Bayside Ward" finally appears at the bottom as "Nearby this location". But a funny "Meetinghouse" is listed just below it.

How do I contact someone to get this fixed?

Your best bet is to provide feedback from the maps page. Click the question mark in the upper-right corner of the page (next to the printer icon). In the sidebar that opens, click on the Send Feedback link. Comments made here will help if someone has found a workaround, but feedback is the formal method to get bug reports and feature requests to those who direct the developer's priorities.

I see no question mark in Meetinghouse Locator Maps -- in Edge or Chrome. Attached is what I see.

Sorry, you are correct. I was in the "Ward Directory and Map" part of the church website (you must be signed in to see the feedback option). You should be able to use the Feedback link at the very bottom of the main church page (or any other church web page that has a feedback link) and indicate what the problem is with the "Meetinghouse Locator" page. You can also include the topic number (42442) from this forum (or include a link to the forum) in your feedback if you want to point them to your screenshot and description of the problem.

The message says "Search was too general. Click the Map to See Wards for this Location."

As soon as I clicked a spot on the map, it gave "Bayside Ward" as the "Residential Ward for this Location"

It seems to be working as intended.

I believe the meetinghouse locator is designed more for "move-ins" than visitors. As such, it wants a fairly specific location. Something as broad as a zip code could have multiple wards covering it.

I have a similar experience when I try to search my area with just a zip code.
