This morning when my wife was attempting to join the meetinghouse Liahona wifi network, rather than being presented with the Liahona Terms of use Acceptance page, she was just shown the website "new.churchofjesuschrist.org".
I attempted to navigate to the church website and it redirects me to it as well. I then went into my device settings (iPhone 14 Pro Max) and told it to forget the Liahona wifi network and then I rejoined it and at that point I was presented with the normal Terms of use page to continue to the internet.
When did the church push the "new" subdomain to the church website?

Nevermind, if I had taken a moment to scroll down, I'd have seen the link explaining the changes.

Re: New Church website?
That sounds like a bug if the Liahona splash screen is redirecting to the new Church home page without allowing you to accept the terms of use. I'd recommend sending a feedback email using the link at the bottom of the Church website.

Yea it was definitely odd, for sure. When I forgot the wifi network on my phone it functioned normally during connecting. May have just been a temporary blip with her phone. I'll keep an eye on it and try it again on Wednesday at Activity days this week to see the results.

Re: New Church website?
I have found recently that when the Church website gets confused, busy, or otherwise runs into a problem, it throws me to the Church home page rather than to an error message that might explain the problem.
