Living ordinance recommend
Anyone know of documentation to verify how long a living ordinance recommend is good for? I cannot find anything in the handbook. I am thinking it is 60 or 90 days but I can't find actual documentation of that. I would not think it would be for two years like the regular recommend.

Re: Living ordinance recommend
There are two parts to most of those recommends. The part used to do the living ordinance and a normal recommend (this part may not be there for some sealing to parents recommends). Which part are you talking about? The normal recommend part is good for two years.

I am talking about the part on the right side. The large one required for a living ordinance. Sealing or Own Endowment.

If you don't get a better answer, I'd call the temple. They'd be "the enforcers" in this situation.

In case anyone searches this, the answer is "After 90 days the temple would check with the stake president. If he approves, no need to issue a new recommend."

For clarity, who provided this answer? Did it come from your local temple, or from another source? In case anyone searches this, the answer is "After 90 days the temple would check with the stake president. If he approves, no need to issue a new recommend."
And anyone finding this thread, could also reference this Forum post which talks about the Shelf Life for a non-activated recommend, which seems to have the same general conclusion as what you were told: nothing totally official, but 90 days does seem to be a trigger point for additional consideration for both living ordinance and standard recommends.

Re: Living ordinance recommend
I am an assistant recorder in a temple and I contacted a recorder from another temple and he gave me that info. I could not find it in any handbook (General or Temple President) or church info. written down.
