Thanks for the help all. We were caught off guard with the new audit question pertaining to this video. Does anyone have citation to an official communication or other letter detailing the requirement? It's troubling that we have an audit question about a new policy that is not documented anywhere.

I am not in a position where I would have received official communication, so I do not know. However, over the years I can think of quite a number of financial requirements that I first learned about at the audit originally incorporating the question.

For us, it came through the stake and not directly to our ward.
I asked our auditor today if we had to watch this same video every 6 months and he was not sure. The question is very specific to this video. In the past, the question was just general about receiving some sort of training during the 6 months. Now it uses the name of the video in the question. Whether that question will be around next time or not, seems to be the question we're all wondering.

The video is not available from the Finance, Help, Financial Training Videos as it it on the English site. I also searched the name of the video in Spanish but didn't find anything. Thank you.
I've looked in the handbook but haven't found anything that states the requirement of needing to meet together in person to watch the video. Does anyone know of such a reference in the handbook or somewhere?
There is nothing in the Handbook that says they must watch it together. But then there are many things that are not in the handbook.
The audit question reads: "Did the bishopric, the ward clerk, and the assistant ward clerk assigned to finances meet together to view the training video “Sacred Funds, Sacred Responsibilities” sometime in the last 12 months?" I guess if a ward wants to rely on the handbook and say they want to watch it separately, as long as they are willing to live with an audit exception every year...
The video itself has breaks where the narrator says to discuss what has been shown. I think it's clear that even if it's not in the Handbook, the Church would like priesthood leaders to watch and discuss the video together. If they can't do that because of travel distances, if they hold presidency meetings virtually for example, they can watch and discuss the video virtually.
There is value in discussing the principles taught in the video.

General Handbook, 34.5, addresses viewing the video. It states: "Bishoprics and clerks review the video 'Sacred Funds, Sacred Responsibilities' at least once a year." In the video there are several pauses where the topic just presented can be discussed. This implies having a group together to have that discussion. The question in the audit asks if the bishopric and clerks viewed the video together in the past twelve months. Our stake recommends being physically together when practicable but permits streaming meetings.
