I wrote a lengthy journal entry today inside a notebook, and then tried to move it to its own notebook. I tapped Move to Notebook and then deselected the existing notebook it was part of and then it totally disappeared from my app.
I want to use this app to keep journal entries but it is not easy to browse entries if I have a “journal” notebook with entries, because it doesn’t seem to allow you to sort by most recent first while viewing a notebook.
1. Could anyone help me figure out how to recover my lost entry? I’m really sad as this was my first entry in years and I poured out my heart in it.
2. Is there a better way to manage a scripture journal from within the app? Perhaps just create a new notebook for each entry instead of adding notes to a notebook?

Re: Lost Notebook
Have you checked in the Annotations section (the button next to Notebooks, when you're viewing the Study Tools section of Home)? That should have all of your notes and highlights (whether or not they're grouped into notebooks or tags), with the most recent at the top. Hopefully your note will show up there.
For the order of the notes inside a notebook, iOS and Android Gospel Library are a little different. In both, you can reorder the notes manually using the Edit option in the top right, but on iOS, new notes go to the bottom by default, and on Android, new notes go to the top by default. Personally, I like the Android way better, and it sounds like that's what you're looking for too. It might be worth sending feedback in the Help section of the app!

Re: Lost Notebook
Thank you—that helped me recover it!
While I prefer the way the Android version does it better, I feel a simple sort ascending vs. descending by date would be great. I understand that they allow you to drag to order as desired, but it’s cumbersome to have to swipe a bunch of times to get to the bottom and see the most recent content, and I can’t imagine dragging all the way to the top to order everything the way I’d like to see it.
Thanks for your help!
