I love everything about TIS as a shift coordinator except for one thing.
It's nice to be able to help some workers with their substitution requests periodically but I'll often get the following message when I go into the substitution system:
Unexpected error
An unanticipated problem occurred. Try again later. If the problem continues, contact the Global Service Desk.
I can still do everything except perform transactions on behalf of temple workers. I called into the tech support line and they stated they are aware of the issue and that clearing cookies, etc, should resolve the issue but if not there are no other fixes. I have tried 4 different browsers, even installing a couple from scratch (ARC, Firefox) just to access TIS and I still receive those errors on the initial login.
Any other advice?

Do you have any security software installed? Perhaps a VPN? I'm wondering if something is blocking access to the needed servers.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
