Member Name Showing Incorrectly in Circles

One of our member's name is showing incorrectly in Circles. She has reinstalled the app multiple times. She has verified her records in LCR and it has been exactly how it should be in LCR. She has done the "Refresh Data" process multiple times.

As an example (I'm making this up, this isn't her real name), say her name was: Jennifer Ashley Ann Smith in LCR. In Circles it is showing up as Jennifer Amy Ann Evans. Parts of it match her legal name, parts of it match her birth name, and part of it matches a previous married name she had.

Any idea how to fix this?

There are a few "name" fields in LCR. The name, preferred name, then a name for the household they belong to. There might even be a maiden name. I don't remember. It's been a long time.

The household is what usually trips people up, but I'd check all of them.

It matches none of them. Searching LCR for two of the names doesn't bring up any records. The last name that is showing isn't her maiden name, it's a previous married name but she's been remarried for 8 years and her current name is the name she had when she was baptized.

I'm going to give her the number for the Help Desk and let her resolve it there. I personally can't stand the Gospel Living app and it seems to be a shared view. Other wards in our stake stopped using it and our auxiliaries are using other apps to communicate in place of it. It doesn't sync with the ward calendar, you can't access it on a computer (without going through a bunch of hoops), notifications happen when there are no notifications, notifications won't clear even when you try to clear them...it's terrible.

A possibility is that the sister has a duplicate record. You have one and her account is connected to the other. The tell would be to compare MRN between what you have and what's on her account.

So I pulled up her details in Circles and it shows a different phone number than what LCR shows so this is a possibility. However, when I search LCR for the name or parts of the name different from what LCR shows, I get zero results. So if she had a duplicate record but that record isn't in our ward, how is she getting Circles access to our ward?

There's also a name and phone number that a user can set at Account.ChurchofJesusChrist.org. I wonder if that's where it's coming from?
