Missing Teacher Quorum Circles
I presume there are multiple Circles for the Teachers Quorum and Priest Quorum, like there is for the Deacons (Deacons Quorum, Deacons Quorum Presidency, Deacons Quorum Parents, Deacons Quorum Adult Leaders). I am in the bishopric and do not see the TQ or PQ like I can the DQ. I also know the advisors in the TQ cannot see those circles either. What is the best way to get access to the right circles based on roles assigned in LCR?

In Circles, scroll down to the bottom and you should see "Organize Circles". Click on that and you will have a list of numerous Circles you can join which includes "Deacons Quorum", "Deacons Quorum - Adult Leaders" and so on. If you click on the Circle it will have an option to "Join Circle" at the bottom if you are not already a member. This should work.
I can't confirm, I've tried it but I'm the Ward Clerk and even though I'm an administrator in Circles I have never successfully joined a Circle outside the default ones for my calling which it auto-joined me to. Let me know if it works. I wish you luck, I can't stand Circles.

I guess it's unfortunate that I do not have "Organize Circles" at the bottom of that tab when I scroll down. I'm also finding the Circles functionality to be wanting.

That sounds like you do not have administrator permissions a bishopric member should have. Bishopric member permissions are broader than a quorum advisor. The quorum advisor only has administrator permissions for the quorum to which they are an advisor. You need to figure out why you do not have administrator permissions for your calling. I am making no assumptions for your situation but will list some possible reasons to explore and/or work out.christopherrh wrote: ↑Sun May 11, 2025 7:56 pm I guess it's unfortunate that I do not have "Organize Circles" at the bottom of that tab when I scroll down. If your calling to the bishopric is relatively recent then any of the following may be at play:
a) The system has not had enough time to update permissions. This can take up to 48 hours or even longer.
b) Your calling permissions have not been updated in the app. Try signing out of the app and signing back in. This is done in Settings > Account > Options Menu (three vertical ellipsis) > Sign Out. Before signing in to the app, make sure you have a good connection to a reliable WiFi network. Data interruption while using your cellular network data can cause app data issues.
c) You have more than one calling that has permissions in the app. While I am not aware of this being a problem with the Gospel Living app there are multiple calling situations for the online Leader and Clerk Resources and the Member Tools mobile app. I know LCR has a calling function for those with multiple callings. I am not sure about Member Tools. Others will more multiple calling experience will have to chime in about multiple callings in Gospel Living.
If none of the above apply then I recommend uninstalling the app; rebooting/restarting your mobile device; and reinstalling the Gospel Living app. As with the sign out and back in process mentioned above make sure you have a reliable WiFi connection when signing into the reinstalled app.
