Surprise membership audit findings

We're completing our mid-year membership audit and have a new finding for a Sister who has been in our ward for 2 years. The finding is regarding her sealing date being just shy of 1 year from her baptism date. This all happened in the 50's, and her spouse passed away last year. I read the other thread that has a comparable situation: viewtopic.php?t=29069&hilit=ratification, and it seems like ratification through the 1st Presidency will be the correct solution, but what I'm most curious about is why this is appearing now? Married for 50+ years, they've been in other wards/stakes prior to ours and I assume this was post digital switchover, including MLS to LCR. I don't recall seeing this on previous audits either -- so why now?

I'm curious what her endowment date is. I'd think the system would complain about that first.

Or maybe that exception has already been granted but it wasn't extended to the sealing.

Pure speculation, but I'm thinking the code got a review/refresh and the updated code caught something previously missed. (Or, perhaps it's not processing the FP Exception flag properly.)

I'd report it and see what's said.

Endowment date is 7 days before the sealing, so you're right -- seems like that should be flagged as well, unless it's already flagged and ratified, or code is broken. We opened a ticket so we'll see what happens. Thanks for your input.
