Baptism program…

Baptism program…

Is it required to put on the baptismal program of an eight year old who is presiding?

Or is it just common practice?

Bishop will be out of town.
First counselor will preside.
Second counselor will conduct and say the closing remarks.

Just one eight year old getting baptism.

No, it is not required. You are not even required to have a printed program. But it is nice if you are printing a program and there is room.

There are no requirements about what to put on the printed program, or to have a printed program at all, so that's up to you.

Section 18.7 and 18.8 of the General Handbook may be helpful to review as you're planning for the baptism:
