Thank you for that information and the example where you received permission. That's the first case I have ever heard of where permission was granted.

The process of creating a flavor of Raspbian is fairly straight forward. You install the version of Raspbian that takes you only to the command prompt. Then you start adding. First, of course, a desktop. There are a lot of packages you need to remember to install that you don't typically think of. I don't remember all the names, but you need gparted, the apt-get program, and many more. Below is a link as to how to create a master of your new flavor.

A different option is just to create an app that adds the Church content. I don't know how to create an app nor what should be in it.

Are you guys still interested in this? What is it you're wanting to do? Basically make your own Linux Distribution? I could maybe help with this. I'm running Nobara Linux, and have a decent amount of experience with Linux. I would be interested in helping with this project! Let me know.

I really like Ubuntu. Microsoft has its Edge web browser available for Linux. With Edge, you have Microsoft's own tool to run all of its web apps. If you need OneDrive, there is a proprietary app called Insync (https://www.insynchq.com/). It is expensive, but it works well. LibreOffice does well at editing Microsoft files without messing them up.

Do a complexity of the work we have two path for this.
1. Following D&C 89. Find a novel Emma Smith who goes to the prophet explaining the consequence of the actual proprietary IT.
Wait the answer from God about it through the prophet.
Then follow the instructions.
2. Democratically start a Committee of experts in Internet.

Note: Sorry for my bad English, I'm Italian.
