I don't know what the logo looks like in that language. Also, It's possible that the Christus Statue is covered by copyright.

At the very bottom of this page is a "Terms of Use" link. On that page is a link to request "Permission to Use Copyrights and Trademarks". That would be the place to ask.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

The Christus statue itself is not copyrighted or owned by the Church (the original is in a Lutheran church in Denmark, and was sculpted in 1833 – long enough that any copyrights would have expired by now).

However, the stylized artwork of the Christus statue that the Church uses in its logo is copyrighted and a registered trademark. Close imitations of the stylized artwork are likely protected under the same trademark.

In your case, you aren't using the logo, nor are you imitating the logo – it's a photo of the Christus statue from a different angle, without an arch or wordmark. You may need permission from the person who took the photo, but you shouldn't need permission from the Church – unless the Church is also the owner of the photo (in which case, the "Terms of Use" link mentioned by russellhltn should be helpful).

Can I use the church logo for my studies just to indicate that our church is my client. Only for studies.

As I read General Handbook, 38.8.8, it is not allowed. For a definitive answer you can contact the Intellectual Property Office. General Handbook, 38.8.8 has their mailing address, telephone number, FAX number, and email address.
