Post by catherinemurray »

I was called as communication specialist for ward and stake and have been asked
to put some newsletters together ..I was wondering if there is a church template
I could use for a Relief Society and Branch newsletter

Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Congrats on your calling! You may remember that a number of years ago, the Church actually did try and support an integrated Newsletter feature, but that was discontinued I believe in 2017. Since that time, there is not (to my knowledge) any type of "church template" that members can utilize for newsletters/bulletins.

As you've probably seen in your own experience, there's a lot of creative members out there who have local newsletters ranging from simple to complex, and they're wildly different from each other. I think most members in your situation choose from one of two paths:
1) They find something usable from another member, and tweak it for their own use
2) They get frustrated and simply start from scratch, using whatever software they're comfortable with
You're probably already going down the road of option (1), hopefully other Forum members share something you can readily use so you can avoid option (2) ;)
