Returned Missionary Email Access for Former Mission Presidents

I know in LDS Tools there is an option for returned missionaries to share their contact information with their former mission president. This is a great feature. However, what happens when that mission president passes away? That is the case with my mission president. He recently passed away and some of us who served under are struggling to get the word out to all of the RMs who served under him to let them know about the memorial service. Is there some way to get access to that email list so we can let people know?

I find it very unlikely that this information will be made available. It may not even be available to family members of the deceased president.

I know in LDS Tools there is an option for returned missionaries to share their contact information with their former mission president.

Is this available to all returned missionaries, or only "modern" missionaries? I've never seen an option or link that allows me to share contact information with my mission president.

In general there is the option to share contact info with his wife (if she was serving with him) as well. If she's still alive she may have a similar list that she can use.

There is a cut off date for it. That date is 1998 (I don't remember if that means you had to start your mission after that or if you had to finish your mission after that).
And yes I missed out on the feature as well.
