Hello all, I'm trying to fix a member's Elder Ordination date, which is showing he was ordained when he was still 17 years old, but was turning 18 later on that year in 2012. I'm guessing he would have been sustained in the stake conference later that year, but I need to find the date of that state conference. Is this possible?
Kind Regards
Bro Hiku
Date of when a stake conference was held in a specific year.

I'd think the stake would have a record of that, including the sustainings.
Church Headquarters might, but you'll have to call them during working hours.

Would you have put stake conference on your personal calendar, and are you still using the same calendar you were using in 2012 (or maybe someone in your bishopric is)? My calendar goes back to 2006 and I've often found things like this by searching my old calendar events.

There is a stake conference report in LCR that has the dates of previous stake conferences for a stake. However that assumes that there have been no moves or stake boundary changes that would have affected the member.russellhltn wrote: Sun Aug 10, 2025 11:42 pm I'd think the stake would have a record of that, including the sustainings.
Records of stake conferences (including ordinations) should have been transmitted to Church HQ as part of the annual unit history, so the records should exist somewhere.

This is a late reply. He could have been sustained in his ward and then ratified in a later stake conference.
Lacking any church records of the event, does the person or his family have any records, like journal entries, photos, etc., that might give a clue to the actual date.
