How to stop scripture information from being auto hid

Post by roberso »

For some reason they changed the library app so that as you scroll down while reading the scriptures, the chapter information and the navigation on the bottom right go away. You have to scroll up a bit to get them to reappear. Note this does not always work. How do I turn this new “blessing” off? I’m running iPadOS 26 on an M1 iPad Air.

There isn't currently a way to turn that off. I'd recommend sending feedback through the app, under Help > Send Feedback.

I agree, I can't stand this new "feature." I've sent feedback to the team on this. It is particularly annoying when trying to bookmark a verse that is close to the end of the chapter. Can't do it. Gotta set a bookmark and then move the bookmark. I really don't like much of the changes in the UI in many parts of GL. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.
