General Conference widget still showing April

Post by theOtter »

Hey all.

I love the General Conference widget on iOS. However, I’m wondering if I’m doing something wrong.

When I created the widget in May or June 2025, the April 2025 General Conference was the most recent. So, every day, a different quote from the April conference came up. I clicked it, it went to the appropriate talk, and all was well. But then we got to October conference.

For the first week or so, I wasn’t surprised that it hadn’t started displaying talks from the latest conference. I know the team needs time to get everything in place. I was a little surprised when it hadn’t been updated by the second week, but I figured they’d get to it when they’d get to it. But now we’re in December. The October conference talks have been in the app for almost two months, yet the widget is still showing quotes from April conference. I even went so far as to delete and recreate the widget, but no dice. The April talks are still wonderful, but I’d like to start seeing talks from the most recent conference again. Is there something I need to do?

Thanks in advance!

I'm seeing the same, and what appears on the widget matches the Quote of the Day at the bottom of Gospel Library Home – so I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Hopefully it will switch soon!

Thanks! Although honestly, I wish it were that I’m doing something wrong. I can fix that! 😁
