YSA who live at home vs away from home report

In the General Handbook 37.3.1 it clearly states we treat YSA who live at home differently than those away from home. Yet in LCR there is no mechanism or report that allows ward/ stake leadership to know if a YSA is living at home or not. It seems it would be an easy field to add by just cross referencing their parents address with the YSA's address and add a field on the members profile with this indication. As it currently is, we have to dig and assume and in some instances go through the home ward Bishop. Cumbersome and clunky.

This would be so helpful as we seek to minister and help so many YSA not be lost. Our YSA ward has worked diligently and uncovered many YSA "no participating" in our YSA ward and still living at home. We return these memberships to the home ward and in all instances the home ward Bishop is grateful to be aware and work with the YSA and their parents on their activity rate. I am so hopeful Church Technology See's this desperate plea and implements this feature.

Unfortunately the programming decision makers will most likely not see the post. There is no indication that programming decision makers visit the Tech Forum. The best method to get your concern/suggestion to the decision makers is to use the Feedback link found at the bottom of the page in the footer of most Church website webpages.

Note that comparing addresses isn't trivial as there's many ways to format an address. Things like St/Street, Pl/Place, Apt/Suite/#, as well as abbreviations for directions like North, South, etc
