Generating mailing labels

Is there a specific report you're looking at? In LCR, as a ward assistant clerk for membership, if I go to Membership -> Member Directory -> Print, I see an "Mailing Labels" in the drop-down menu. That appears to produce a PDF file that could be printed onto mailing labels.

That is the only report you can do a mailing label. If you go to any of the reportts in the Reports>member reports, you can't print a mailing list anymore. Try "birthday list" or any of your custom reports, you can't print a mailing label from there anymore

Confirmed that the Birthday List does not give the option to print mailing labels. I had not known there had been a mailing labels option in the other reports. A workaround might be to print the report, keep the list in one browser window, then open a new browser window in Member Directory, select the relevant individuals/households, and print mailing labels from Member Directory.

It's just a guess on my part, but I would think it's likely that removing the mailing label option from the other reports simplified some things that were being worked on or side-stepped some bugs or other problems that were needing to be solved.

If it's important to you to have that functionality restored, you could use the Feedback button or link to make the case and/or ask your stake president to raise the issue up his chain of command.

Yeah, you can't even print a report from the custom reports. What good is it to generate a report that you can't even print, let alone make a mailing label for?

I was informed on 2 Dec 2025 that Development is aware that the option to print a custom report is missing. They say it will be fixed in Q1 of 2026. I hope it is fixed by early January 2026.

Thanks for the the update, Allen. It's frustratingthat I've sent a message and feedback 3-4 times and not had any response from anyone in SLC

Using Feedback isn't very productive. A better route is to click on HELP in the top toolbar in LCR then click on CONTACT US in the pull-down menu. In that screen you can create a case or trouble ticket.
