Church Magazine Subscriptions through LCR

We have an elderly brother in our ward who doesn't use email and barely can use his cell phone. He evidently has a church account but doesn't know his login information. Account recovery doesn't seem to be an option, as he doesn't use email and I tried helping him recover his info via text, but his phone never receives it. He wants to receive the Liahona, but LCR subscription data shows his subscription expired in July 2025. I've been told that the Bishopric can subscribe on a member's behalf through LCR, but my bishop and I have been unable to figure out how to do this. The only thing we see in LCR is the magazine subscription report, not any way to subscribe for them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you got close to what you needed. If you went to LCR > Reports > Magazine Subscriptions, you were almost there. Find the member name on the list. Click the edit icon (pencil icon on the right side of the page), complete the form, and click the Submit button.

Thank you for your reply. In the interim, our member's daughter was able to help him regain access to his online account, and they were able to take care of it. But it is good to know going forward.
