broadcast redirect to Gospel Stream fails

Zoom sacrament meeting link sharing has become problematic for members who use mobile devices that also have the gospel stream app. The church site redirects them away from broadcasts.churchofjesuschrist.org to the gospel stream app which doesn't show the local broadcast connection information.

Our ward uses zoom webinars for sacrament meeting (church-provided zoom account). We post the links using meet.churchofjesuschrist.org so they show up for ward members under events > broadcasts > local.

In the past this worked fine, members could see a "viewing options" link that took them to zoom, and could also see a six-digit event code to share with family members not in the unit. Users not logged in or not members of the ward could see a box to enter the six-digit code and join the webcast. Now if anyone pulls this up on a mobile device, they get bounced them to gospel stream app with no ability to see (or enter) a six digit code, and no page that provides the zoom link.

Is something supposed to be live in the gospel stream app for local webinars via zoom, is this a glitch, or should I set things up differently? Right now the only workaround seems to be to tell participants to use a computer/laptop or remove gospel stream app from their mobile device in order to connect virtually to any zoom broadcasts?
